Twentysomething year old Iwona lives with her husband and two small daughters in a one-bedroom apartment in a Warsaw block. She works as a cashier at a supermarket. Janusz, her husband, is unemployed and get occasional jobs by assisting in movings. Uncertain financial situation has a negative impact on the family life; arguments become more and more violent. One day, Iwona is invited by her former boyfriend to join him in London and start a new life together. In the next couple weeks she is increasingly inclined to give up unsatisfying reality to begin a new life.
