"A meeting place for people who never arranged to meet each other" is an apt definition of a post-war cafe. Many of Warsaw's cafes have survived until today, although they are not the same. Their past charm has lived on in the reminiscences of regular clients who "got together, drank coffee and sneered." We follow them on a beautiful journey into the world of these smoky enclaves of freedom.
