A
story about Wladyslawa who during the Second World War,
as a 12-year-old girl, used to bring food to hiding
in nearby swamps Jewish families. After many years,those
who Wladyslawa helped to survive the war arrive at Konne
Chutor along with their children and grandchildren.
Moro Lewo and his sister are one of the survivors who
come for dinner at Wladyslawa's house. The morning after
the celebration they visit the Archive Office in Bialystok
where they track their parents' birth certificates.
MICHAL
NEKANDA-TREPKA
Born in 1947 in Warsaw. Scriptwriter, director and a
TV journalist. He graduated from Film Directing Department
at the Lodz Film School in 1970. An author of numerous
documentaries. He debuted in 1985 with his short documentary
film "Ancient Lodz" (Lodz starozytna) . His
filmography includes "It's Our Youth" (To
nasza mlodosc, 2006), "As If It Was Yesterday"
(Jakby to bylo wczoraj, 2005), "The Last Witness"
(Ostatni Swiadek, 2002).
