Polish survivors of Soviet deportation to Siberia during
the Second World War describe their experiences as the
youngest victims of the deadly Soviet system. Combining
interviews with archival photographs, archival film
footage, and artwork created by survivors, the film
reveals a poignant picture of how these extremely difficult
circumstances were experienced by children and teenagers.
The film's director is also beginning on a companion
work, Women in Exile about the fate of women in Soviet
labor camps.
