On
May 11th 2000, Ola Janczarska choked while washing down
a pill and fell into coma. Two years later Alina Mrowinska
started to make a film about Ola and her mother, Ewa
Blaszczyk. The documentary presents their lives from
April 2002 until the present time - Ola's stay at the
Children's Hospital, her return home, Ewa's dramatic
battle to bring her daughter Ola back to the world.
In May 2007, at the "Neurovita" Clinic in
Moscow, Ola received a stem cell transplant. Ewa Blaszczyk
says that a "light in the tunnel finally showed
up."
