Two apartment house dewllers, although unrelated, share the same name, Paczek. Hipolit, the building's owner, is an older man with love for classical music. Henryk, a radio host, is a young man, addicted to swing music. Both organize concerts in their apartments, often at the same time. Hipolit's beautful niece, Lodzia, arrives for a visit and accidentally gets into the apartment above where Henryk lives. Love of young people reconciles the feuding parties...
