The
opening of the Polish Film Festival in America is
always a popular attraction for a great many Polish
film buffs in the country. In keeping with tradition
and due to a limited capacity for the VIP Gala,
the PFFA will invite a general public for the Official
Opening Night to be held simultaneously in Pickwick
Theatre (5 S. Prospect Ave., Park Ridge, 8:00
pm.). Acclaimed Polish film actors will
host the Gala. The evening will include short but
thrilling artistic program, introduction of some
Official Guests, U.S. premieres of splendid animation
and a new Polish feature film. The invitation for
this unforgettable event for only
$20.00 can be purchased here.
The
Opening Night program for AMC River East 21 and
Pickwick Theatre will be announced on September
30th. The complete festival
schedule will be available on October 8th.
The presented films are in English or have English
subtitles.
PFFA
passes for all festival shows, excluding Opening
Night and special screening, can be purchased here.
The pass for five films selected by a buyer is valid
for all festival locations. At cost of
$50.00, it gives substantial savings compared to
buying single tickets and with no waiting in lines
to any box-office.
The
Opening Night attendees and pass buyers will receive
free of charge the PFFA Program Book with a full
schedule, descriptions of films, and essays on Polish
cinema.
All
purchased invitations and passes can be picked up
in the festival office (1112 N. Milwaukee Ave.,
