POLISH FILM FESTIVAL IN AMERICA

and tickets for the 20th Anniversary Polish Film
Festival in America (PFFA) Night Rider Rock Symphony
Concert Gala go on sale on September 23, 2008. Night
Rider Rock Symphony is a world premiere of
extraordinary concert of classical and film music
in rock arrangements. This spectacular only concert
is organized as a celebration of the 20th anniversary
of the Polish Film Festival in America, the world's
largest annual showcase of Polish cinema.
The
Concert Gala will take place in Harris Theater for
Music and Dance in Millennium Park (205 East Randolph
Drive near Michigan Ave.), one of the city's most
outstanding acoustic spaces, on Sunday,
November 9, 2008 at 6:00 pm.
Night Rider Symphony is a rock orchestra
founded in 2007 in Poland. Often compared to its
famous U.S. counterpart Trans-Siberian Orchestra,
the band's innovative musical style incorporates
rock and classical music. Internationally acclaimed
Marek Piekarczyk, a leading vocal of TSA band, will
appear as a guest soloist. The Paderewski Symphony
Orchestra will be conducted by Christophe de Voise,
graduate of Paris Conservatoire and Yale University,
who often appears with the most reputable classical
orchestras in the world. The Orchestra is accompanied
by DePaul University Children Choir. Eminent Polish
actress Adrianna Biedrzynska will introduce this
family-oriented music program. In over two-hour
concert, full of jaw-dropping lighting effects,
Night Rider will play compositions by Chopin, Wolfgang
Amadeus Mozart, Vivaldi, Beethoven and Tchaikovsky.

The concert is made in part thanks to a generous
sponsorship from National City, Jewel-Osco, Polamer,
the Polish Film Institute, Seneca Hotel and Harris
Theater for Music and Dance.
Tickets are $ 35.00 (balcony) and $ 52.00 (main
floor), and can be purchased here.

by the artists and special guests of the festival
which include prime main floor seating are available

at a cost of $ 100.00 per person. Tickets can be
purchased in person in Harris Theatre, and the Society
