Staszek works at a charcoal burning place along with
a few other man. He doesn't want to retire because his
job is what keeps him active and alive. Staszek is a
university graduate. He speaks three languages and loves
to share his life philosophies with others. He believes
that a man is enslaved by his possessions. That's why
he chooses to move into an abandoned train car and lead
such a modest life. The only thing that Staszek owns
is a dog. He believes that animals, unlike human beings,
are not capable of hurting anyone.
