While Jacek Blawut was filming Before Twilight on location at the home for senior actors, there was also another camera working on the set. It recorded the actors waiting to enter the set, which resulted in a film full of affection and subtle humor. The film characters have different ways of coping with the fact that they are no longer present on stage or on the screen. Nina Andrycz and Irena Kwiatkowska stand on opposite poles. The film also features Beata Tyszkiewicz, Roman Klosowski and Kazimierz Orzechowski, a Catholic priest and actor.
