In
June 2002 eight year old Ola Bielewska went missing.
Co-directors Jedrzej Niedtroj and Rafal Przybyl examine
the disappearance and its strange circumstances, and
follow the girl's mother Dorota as she copes with the
tragedy. Interviews with Dorota's friends and neighbors
reveal strange and dispassionate reactions, as if totally
untouched by the event. Dorota seeks information about
Ola the day of her disappearance but finds her question
falling on deaf ears. Despite the lack of support, Dorota
maintains her faith that her daughter is alive somewhere
waiting to be found despite some hard facts which indicate
her homicide. The filmmakers follow what has become
now a dramatic seven year ordeal for Dorota and her
family.
