Black-and-white newsreel from the 1930's about colonizing ambitions of the independent Poland. On December 28, 1934 at 4 p.m. a ship with eight daredevils on board sailed out from the Gdansk's harbor. Their goal is to break fresh grounds and establishing the first colony in one of the still not colonized at the time countries: Liberia. They carry many tropical "necessities" with: cement, cotton sheets, duvets, chamber pots... On January 19th they saw the land. The rest is history. Not necessarily a glorious one...
