Rogalski's directing debut is a hilarious story set
in contemporary Warsaw that parodies films like Ocean's
Eleven and the Death Wish Series. In it, we meet Zygmunt,
a World War II veteran who lives a peaceful life feeling
his best years are long gone. But, when Zygmunt's grandson
is roughed up by the henchman of a local crime boss,
he finds little support from the police and decides
to take matters into his own hands. Teaming up with
his army buddies from the Warsaw Uprising, Zygmunt starts
his battle with the Warsaw underworld. Using his wits
and old school toughness, Zygmunt and his friends create
an elaborate scheme to take the criminals down and put
those in charge behind bars.
