24th Polish Film Festival in America Announces Dates & Locations
November 2-18, 2012 | Chicago

The 24th edition of Polish film Festival in America (PFFA), the world’s largest showcase of Polish film, will take place from Friday, November 2 to Sunday, November 18, 2012 in five premier cinematic venues in the Chicagoland.

The VIP Opening Night Gala Screening is scheduled for Friday, November 2, 2010 at 7:00 P.M. in one of the country’s most outstanding and elegant cinema multiplexes Muvico Rosemont 18 (9701 Bryn Mawr Ave., Rosemont). The Opening Night Gala Reception with stars of Polish film in attendance is scheduled for 9:30 to 12:00 A.M. and will take place at The Society for Arts (1112 N. Milwaukee Ave., Chicago, IL).. Parking is complimentary for the Opening Night patrons in both locations.

Except for Muvico Rosemont 18, the festival’s main venue this year, regular PFFA screenings will be held in Facets Cinematheque (1517 West Fullerton Ave.), well-known for its splendid foreign film programming; popular Beverly Arts Center (2407 West 111th Street) located at the city’s South Side (a free parking available); and Pickwick Theatre (5 South Prospect Ave., Park Ridge), the landmark movie house built in 1928 in Art Deco style which remains one of the most spectacular theatres in the state. Pickwick offers free ample parking in downtown of Park Ridge, a neighborhood now highly populated by Polish American community. The Festival’s primary location for showings of documentary films is the Society for Arts’ Gallery Theatre (1112 North Milwaukee Ave.). The elegant digital space accommodates HD screenings. The theatre is known as a reputable site of docsPace program showcasing the world’s best documentary films. The luxury 75-seat auditorium hosts an art gallery and a small cafeteria. Gallery Theatre offers a limited free parking.

The Closing Night Gala and Award Ceremony will take place in Muvico Rosemont 18 on Sunday, November 18th at 4:00 P.M. For all special screenings and receptions separate invitations are required.

Festival Passes and Opening Night Gala Invitations will be on sale on September 3, 2012 Singular tickets will be on sale on October 1, 2012.
