The
story of an eighteen-year-old boy, lost in the surrounding
world. The film is set in Katowice during the martial
law. The main character falls in love with Emily, but
the feeling is not mutual. In despair, he asks Emily
to join him in a dance class…
Rafal
Kapelinski
Born in 1970 in Torun. Film director and scriptwriter.
Graduate of the Mikolaj Kopernik University in Torun
(English Literature, 1994), the University of Washington
in Seattle (Media Management), and .the London Film
School. (2005). In 1993-94 he was the Festival Office
director at Camerimage in Torun. In 2004 established
his own publishing house Chamberlin and Kapelinski.
The, he worked as media analyst in some investment banks
in Zurich, New York and London. Made nine short feature
and documentary films.
