Darek and Michal, two youngsters, bought from the school the prints of old Polish 16 mm prints and a projector. During vacation time they tour around Poland with their "travelling cinema." They arrive at small towns stretched from the Baltic Sea to Silesia and offer screenings for adults and children. On the way they meet a lot of intersting people, help with the harvest and "bring cinema under the thatched roofs."

Marcin Sauter

Born in 1971 in Bydgoszcz. Film director, cinematographer, photographer. Graduate of the Andrzej Wajda Master School of Film Directing. His debut doc film Over the Fence (Za plotem, 2005) received an Honorary Mention at the Cracow FF '05 and won the First Prize at the Int'l Festival of Film Schools in London. The Travelling Cinema was awarded the Main Prize Silver Lajkonik at the Cracow FF '06.
