A 45-year-old Russian man travels through Poland with a wandering circus. One night, he lets the animals out of their cages and looks in delight as the animals - tigers, camels, elephants - walk through the market square of the sleeping town. The next day, he loses his job at the circus. He begins traveling on his own and happens to meet Andzela and Young. They start to perform on the streets together. The Master throws knives, Andzela assists him and Young plays the accordion. The Master has an ambitious goal ot get to Paris, where he expects to find the right space for his art...

Piotr Trzaskalski

Born in 1964 in Lodz. Film, TV commercial and video clip director, screenwriter. Graduate of the Lodz University (Cultural Studies, 1989) and the Lodz National Film School (Film Directing, 1992). Scholarship in the Northern School of Film & TV at Leeds Metropolitan University, UK where he made his first feature film Someone. He has been working for TV from 1992. His work includes documentaries, TV shows, video clips, commercials and various programs about fine arts. Member of the European Film Academy.
