A
45-year-old Russian man travels through Poland with
a wandering circus. One night, he lets the animals out
of their cages and looks in delight as the animals -
tigers, camels, elephants - walk through the market
square of the sleeping town. The next day, he loses
his job at the circus. He begins traveling on his own
and happens to meet Andzela and Young. They start to
perform on the streets together. The Master throws knives,
Andzela assists him and Young plays the accordion. The
Master has an ambitious goal ot get to Paris, where
he expects to find the right space for his art...
