It
is a portrait of individuals whose daily contact with
death has left them unemotional in discussing the topic.
They analyze coffins and urns and discuss the cremation
process in scientific detail. The camera captures a
body entering the cremation stove, as well as the pouring
of the remains into a properly numbered urn. The film
guides the audience across the boundary which until
this point was avoided or never approached. It is also
a film about human curiosity, which knows no boundaries.
Indeed, many people want to know what others will do
with them-once they no longer have a say in the matter...

in 1970 in Cracow. Feature and documentary film director,
cameraman. Graduate of the K. Kieslowski Department
of Radio & TV at the University of Silesia. Recipient
of numerous international awards, incl. festivals in
Nyon, Berlin, Gdynia, Cracow, Wroclaw. He directed six
doc films: Such a Nice Boy I Delivered
(1999), Nameday (2003), Made
in Poland (2003), Come What May
(2004), All Day Together (2006), Death
with a Human Face.
