Monika lives in a small town Skarżysko Kamienna with her husband and three little daughters. In March 2001 she saw her cousin off at the station. She helped her to carry the luggage into the train. Suddenly the train moved. Monika got off when the train was running but her coat got stuck at the door. She run after the train and she got pull under the wheels. She lost her both legs. Today, a few years after the accident, she manages pretty well. With her husband they run a store. She gets support from her family and her husband for whom she is still an attractive woman.

Monika mieszka w małym miasteczku - Skarżysku Kamiennej z mężem i trzema małymi córeczkami. W marcu 2001 roku Monika odprowadzała do pociągu kuzynkę. Pomagała jej wnieść bagaże do przedziału. Nagle pociąg ruszył. Monika wysiadla w biegu, ale płaszczem zaczepiła o klamkę. Biegła za pociągiem kilkadziesiąt metrów, pęd powietrza wciągnął ją pod koła. Straciła obie nogi. Dziś kilka lat po wypadku Monika dobrze sobie radzi w życiu. Założyli z mężem sklep. Monika ma oparcie w rodzinie, kochającego męża, dla którego wciąż jest atrakcyjną kobietą.
